DALEAM WEB has been upgraded with stronger business tools including Customer Dialogue SMS, Audit Trail, VAT/E-VAT-ready receipt structure, barcode scanner sales, QR POS, biometric attendance, improved billing controls, SMS wallet control, admin-to-employer messaging, and better VPS/server performance.
These upgrades help shop owners manage sales, stock, employees, customers, receipts, tax-ready records, SMS communication, and business reports more professionally.
The migration was done to improve system speed, stability, and capacity. As more shops, employees, stock records, sales entries, receipts and SMS activities are added, a stronger server helps the platform handle more daily operations reliably.
If there is ever a temporary interruption, shop owners are advised to issue a manual receipt and later enter the full transaction into the system when access is restored.
Yes. DALEAM WEB is built as a multi-tenant shop management system. Each shop/employer account is separated using its own user_id. A shop sees its own products, sales, customers, employees, SMS wallet, receipts and reports.
This helps keep each business account private and organized.
Customer Dialogue is the SMS communication module for shop owners. It allows a shop to fetch real customers from its own sales history, prepare a message, personalize it with the customer name and shop/company name, then send SMS to selected customers or all customers in a group.
The message is sent using the shop/company identity. DALEAM WEB only powers the feature.
Yes. Each shop owner can send SMS only to customers belonging to that shop’s own user_id. The system fetches customer names and phone numbers from that shop’s sales records and manually added customer contacts.
This is useful for appreciation messages, product updates, promotions, feedback requests, festive greetings and after-sales support.
No. Customer messages should recognize the shop/company name. For example, a customer of Real Tech should receive a message from Real Tech’s SMS identity, not from DALEAM WEB.
DALEAM WEB is the platform powering the SMS feature, while the shop owner controls the customer-facing message identity.
The system excludes generic names like Customer, Walk-in Customer, Cash Customer, Unknown Customer, and empty names. These names are often used when a buyer leaves without giving proper details.
Only real customer names with valid phone numbers should be used for Customer Dialogue.
Yes. Customer Dialogue can target today’s buyers only. This allows a shop to send a daily thank-you or feedback message such as: Hello {customer_name}, thank you for shopping with {company_name} today. We appreciate you.
This helps build customer loyalty and makes the shop look more professional.
Yes. The shop owner can tick individual customers, select visible customers, select the first number of customers, or send to all customers in a chosen group. The system estimates the required SMS units before sending.
SMS units are the credits available in a shop’s SMS wallet. A short SMS normally uses one unit per customer, but long messages can use two, three or more units per customer. For bulk SMS, short messages are recommended to reduce cost.
The system checks the available balance before sending and deducts units after the SMS provider accepts the message successfully.
Yes. DALEAM admin can send announcements, migration notices, billing updates, training updates and important alerts to shop owners/employers from the admin SMS area.
This is separate from shop-to-customer SMS. Admin SMS targets the employers using the system.
Yes. Admin can manage SMS units through SMS Wallet Top-up. The safer process is to add purchased SMS credits to the DALEAM admin wallet, then allocate units from the admin wallet to a selected shop wallet.
This keeps a proper record of admin balance, shop balance and wallet transaction history.
The Audit Trail module records important system activities such as sales edits, cancelled sales, stock changes, login/security events and other sensitive actions. It helps business owners monitor what happened, who did it, when it happened and from where.
Audit Trail improves accountability. When employees edit sales, adjust stock, cancel transactions or perform sensitive actions, the owner can review the record. This helps reduce fraud, detect mistakes, and resolve disputes with clear evidence.
Yes. Sensitive changes can store before-and-after details such as old values and new values. This helps owners understand exactly what changed instead of only seeing that an edit happened.
Yes. Submitted sales can be edited when a genuine correction is needed, such as quantity, item name or unit price correction. A reason for the edit should be provided. Owners/managers can review these changes.
If an employee edits a sale and the total becomes lower, the system can flag it for employer review.
Yes. Audit Trail can be treated as a sensitive feature and protected with password or special access control. This prevents unauthorized users from viewing sensitive business activity history.
Yes. DALEAM WEB has been upgraded to support VAT-ready receipt structure. This can include tax breakdowns, shop TIN information, and receipt formatting that supports future Ghana E-VAT/GRA readiness depending on the shop’s setup and compliance needs.
Not every shop automatically charges VAT. VAT depends on the business’s legal/tax registration and obligations. The system can support VAT calculations for businesses that need it, but each business owner should follow the guidance from the Ghana Revenue Authority or a tax professional.
Yes. Receipts can be structured to show subtotal, VAT/tax amount, total amount, shop name, customer details, staff name, receipt number, payment mode and other business details.
Yes. Receipts can include shop branding such as shop name, phone number, logo, address, staff name, customer details and payment information. Receipt printing can work on phones, tablets or desktops depending on the printer setup.
DALEAM WEB is being structured with E-VAT readiness in mind. Direct GRA API integration depends on official access, business registration requirements and the available integration process. The system can be prepared for this direction as requirements become available.
QR POS allows shops to place QR codes on items, shelves or price tags. Customers or staff can scan the code, add items to cart and submit the order for confirmation, payment and receipt printing.
It is useful for busy shops, supermarkets and one-person shops during rush hours.
Staff can scan the QR code using their phone and complete the order on behalf of the customer. This keeps sales fast and reduces queues.
Yes. Employees can use their phones to scan QR codes and create sales quickly. This helps staff serve customers who do not want to scan by themselves.
Yes. DALEAM WEB supports barcode-based selling. Once a product barcode is saved, scanning it can quickly find and add the item during sales.
Most barcode scanners that behave like keyboard input can work, including USB barcode scanners, wireless scanners and Bluetooth handheld scanners. If the scanner types the barcode into an input field, it can work with the system.
It usually means the barcode has not been saved for that product, or the scanned code does not match what is stored. Update the product barcode correctly and try again.
Yes. Employees can make sales at the same time. The system tracks who served each customer and records sales per staff for performance monitoring.
Owners can create employee accounts with controlled access, monitor staff sales and review activity records. This improves responsibility and helps reduce unauthorized actions.
Yes. DALEAM WEB can support biometric attendance using devices such as fingerprint machines. This helps track staff check-in, check-out, lateness and attendance more accurately.
Yes. Biometric records can support attendance reports, lateness checks, absenteeism review and staff work pattern analysis. Depending on the employer’s policy, it can also support payroll checks.
Unmatched logs can be reviewed and corrected by the employer or admin. This helps ensure device IDs are properly linked to staff records.
Products can be added with name, price, quantity, category, SKU/product code and barcode. Stock quantities reduce automatically when sales are made.
Yes. The dashboard can help you monitor low-stock and out-of-stock items so you can restock early.
Yes. Shop owners with multiple branches can manage them under one structure and track each shop separately. Depending on setup, goods can also be transferred virtually between branches.
Yes. The billing logic can be structured so closed/inactive shops do not appear in payable totals, while active shops continue to be billed properly.
Premium features can be billed monthly or periodically based on the shop’s plan. Invoices can be generated, viewed, paid and printed through the billing area.
Yes. DALEAM WEB supports reports for sales, stock, employees, receipts, income and business performance. These reports help owners make better decisions.
Yes. DALEAM WEB is moving toward intelligence-first analytics. The system can first analyze database records and generate insights internally, then later connect to real AI to explain those insights in a more human way.
Yes. Setup and training can cover product loading, barcode scanner setup, QR POS setup, receipt branding, VAT configuration, biometric attendance setup, multi-shop setup, staff training and SMS Customer Dialogue setup.
Yes. DALEAM WEB is mobile-friendly and works on Android, iPhone, tablets and desktops. If PWA is configured, users can install it to their home screen like an app.
